Many people think it takes a lot of money to travel both locally and International. We sit in our homes thinking traveling is expensive. Although it does take budgeting and research but that doesn’t mean it is impossible. I did research on how to travel for free and I might have found the best way.

Traveling means to go from one place to another, it’s to Journey. Stats have proven that travelling improves your mood and it’s good for your health. Traveling also allows you to learn more about other places. It opens your mind and leaves you curious about what other cities and countries have to offer.

I bet you love to travel but don’t know how to do that, hence you are reading this blog post. Here is a step by step guide on how to travel for free.

STEP 1: START AN IG ACCOUNT AND BUILD YOUR BRAND

If you do not have Instagram then download it. The aim is to build a brand that represents you. You pick a niche, your colours, etc.

STEP 2: GROW YOUR IG ACCOUNT TO AT LEAST 10K FOLLOWERS

Growing your IG Account is going to be hard but worth it. It takes time and consistency to grow Instagram. Make sure to post and engage with your followers each and everyday.

Take some time to reply to DMs, Comments and scroll down the explore page to see what is trending in your niche and create content similar to it. Post stories every 3 hours if you prefer posting on that time stamp and post a few reels too. Also use trending hashtags under your niche and use them when posting.

STEP 3: OFFER VISIBILITY TO HOTELS, AIR BnB, Etc

Now that you have 10k followers you can start approaching hotels, resorts, beach houses and offer visibility to them. You need to tell them more about what you do and how you can help them reach more guests. You can approach them via social media or emails. Make sure you sound as convincing as possible.

Approach about 5-10 companies a day so you can at least get a few responses back. I suggest you start with places that are not too popular. Do your research and find out about the hotel before approaching them. Do not expect them to respond back immediately but keep approaching other companies as well.

STEP 4: TRAVEL, CREAT CONTENT AND NETWORK

Once you get responses back, it’s time to travel. Going to that place doesn’t mean your job is done. You have to create content about the hotel. For example, post about their food, gym, fun activities to engage in, the rooms and the cost of the hotel.

Create carousels,reels and pic mix (if you can) about the place. You can also talk about the other places nearby like parks or a zoo.
